David Burgess

The Free Winter 2004 Concert Series moves to the brand new Boulton Center for the Performing Arts on Main Street in Bay Shore for the February and March Concerts. Guitarist David Burgess will be the Islip Arts Council¹s opening performer at the new venue on February 1st. ³Technically in control and interpretively most persuasive² said John Rockwell of The New York Times of Mr. Burgess, whose international appearances as soloist and chamber musician have taken him to concert halls throughout North and South America, Europe and the Far East. His New York appearances have been at venues such as Carnegie Recital Hall, Lincoln Center and Town Hall. He will present a program of Latin guitar music of the Americas.
