Michael Vannoni

Violist Michael Vannoni, a Bay Shore resident who has earned Bachelor and Masters Degrees at Juilliard, will create an unusual musical afternoon on January 25th, when he performs with his friends at the final Arboretum concert of the season. As a chamber musician, Mr. Vannoni has appeared at such venues as Lincoln Center, Taos and Tanglewood. Pianist Akiko Chiba has performed in numerous solo and chamber recitals at the Suntory and Oji Halls in Japan and Steinway and Morse Hall at Juilliard. Clarinetist Timothy Carter has appeared as soloist and chamber musician at the Barge Concerts in Brooklyn and Lincoln Center Festival 2002. Their program will include a Bach Unaccompanied Suite, Sonatas by Schubert and Brahms, and the Mozart Kegelstatt Trio.
