Prevailing Winds

Prevailing Winds, Long Island¹s best-known and most popular Wind Quintet, will perform on January 18th with guest artist, pianist Jean Vandersal. Norman Abrams, clarinet, Jerene Weitman, flute, Marge Ewald, oboe, Florence Stadtlander, bassoon, and Gary Field, French horn, all conservatory-trained musicians, will present a varied program spanning centuries of classical music and including works by Mozart, Barber, Ravel and Gershwin.
