Directions to Event Locations
Directions to Bay Shore Bandshell:
• Take Sunrise Highway west to Exit 43 - Fifth Avenue.
• Go South on Fifth Avenue (Rte 13A) all the way to Main Street.
• Cross over Main Street and make the first left onto Gibson Street.
• Go one and a half blocks. The Bay Shore Bandshell is on the left.
• Parking lots are on the right.

• Take Southern State Parkway east to Exit 42S – Fifth Avenue.
• At the end of the exit, make a LEFT onto Spur Drive South,
and an immediate RIGHT onto Fifth Avenue. (Be careful, this can be a little tricky.)
• Go South on Fifth Avenue (Rte 13A) all the way to Main Street.
• Cross over Main Street and make the first left onto Gibson Street.
• Go one and a half blocks. The Bay Shore Bandshell is on the left.
• Parking lots are on the right.

Directions to Bayard Cutting Arboretum in Great River:
From the North Shore:
• Take the Grand Central Parkway to Northern State Parkway east.
• Take Northern State Parkway east until you get to Sagtikos Parkway south.
• Take Sagtikos Parkway south to Southern State Parkway east.
• Bear LEFT onto Southern State east toward Heckscher State Park.
• Take Exit 45E onto Route 27A - Great River/Oakdale.
• Take 27A ( Montauk Highway) for about 1/4 mile.
• The Bayard Cutting Arboretum is on the RIGHT just after you get onto Rte 27A.
• Park in the lot on the right; during the summer, the concerts are on the lawn in front of the main house.
• During the winter, the concerts are in the Carriage House to the left of the main house.
From the South Shore:
• Alternatively, take Southern State Parkway all the way to exit 45E.
• Take Exit 45E onto Route 27A - Great River/Oakdale.
• Take 27A ( Montauk Highway) for about 1/4 mile.
• The Bayard Cutting Arboretum is on the RIGHT just after you get onto Rte 27A.
• Park in the lot on the right; during the summer, the concerts are on the lawn in front of the main house.

From the east :
• Take Sunrise Highway to the Oakdale split (exit 46). Keep all the way to the right, and go right at Connetquot Avenue South. Go right again, and again to get onto Connetquot Ave. Take Connetquot to Rte. 27A ( Montauk Highway).
• Go Left on Montauk Highway; the entrance to the Arboretum is 500' on the RIGHT.
• Park in the lot on the right; during the summer, the concerts are on the lawn in front of the main house.
• During the winter, the concerts are in the Carriage House to the left of the main house.
Directions to Gardiner’s County Park:
• Take Sunrise Highway to Exit 41 – Robert Moses Parkway.
• Go South on Robert Moses to Exit RM 2E - Montauk Highway.
• Go approximately one-half mile. The entrance to Gardiner’s County Park is on the right, opposite Sagtikos Manor.

• Take Southern State Parkway to Exit 41S – Robert Moses Parkway South.
• Go South on Robert Moses to Exit RM 2E - Montauk Highway.
• Go approximately one-half mile. The entrance to Gardiner’s County Park is on the right, opposite Sagtikos Manor.

• Take Montauk Highway west through Bay Shore.
• Go approximately two miles past Fifth Avenue (through Brighwaters).

Directions to Sayville Common Ground:
From the west:
• Take Sunrise Highway to Exit 49 – Lakeland Avenue.
• Go South (right) on Lakeland to Main Street - Montauk Highway. ( Lakeland becomes Railroad Avenue in town.)
• Cross over Main Street onto Gillette Avenue. Sayville Common Ground is in Rotary Park on the right between Gillette and Candee Avenues. There are several parking lots within walking distance of the park.
From the east:
• Take Sunrise Highway to Exit 50 – Lakeland Avenue.
• Go South (left) on Lakeland to Main Street - Montauk Highway. ( Lakeland becomes Railroad Avenue in town.)
• Cross over Main Street onto Gillette Avenue. Sayville Common Ground is in Rotary Park on the right between Gillette and Candee Avenues. There are several parking lots within walking distance of the park.

Directions to the Sayville Middle School:
Coming from Upper West Side of Manhattan:
• Go across Manhattan via either 79 th St. or 96 th St. to the FDR Drive North to the Tri-Borough Bridge (the bridge on-ramp is from the FDR Drive near 125 th St.). Take the Tri-Boro to the Grand Central Parkway, which becomes Northern State Parkway to Sagtikos Parkway to Southern State Parkway East to Exit 44E, Sunrise Highway. Take Sunrise Highway east to exit 49; get off at exit 49, cross over Lakeland Avenue (first traffic light) and go to the next traffic light, which is Johnson Avenue. Go right on Johnson Avenue, heading south, for approx 1/4 mile.
• Sayville Middle School is on the left. Go into the second parking lot, as it is easier to get into the auditorium from that side.
Coming from Midtown Manhattan:
• Take the Long Island Expressway:
• Go to the Midtown Tunnel (the entrance is near 34 th St.), which is the beginning of the LIE.
• Take the LIE east to Veterans Highway /Rte 454 (exit 57), Take Veterans Highway/ Rte 454 south (right turn) for 5 miles
• Go right on Johnson Avenue for a mile and a half. The Sayville Middle School is on the left after you go over Sunrise Highway.
• Go into the second parking lot, as it is easier to get into the auditorium from that side.
Coming from JFK Airport:
• Take the Belt Parkway eastto Southern State Parkway (exit 25) east.
• Take Southern State eastbound
• to Sunrise Highway (exit 44E) east.
• Take Sunrise Highway east to exit 49.
• When you get off at exit 49, cross over Lakeland Avenue (first traffic light) and go to the next traffic light, which is Johnson Avenue.
• Go right on Johnson Avenue, heading south, for approx 1/4 mile.

Coming from George Washington Bridge:
• Take I-295 south via exit 12 toward Throgs Neck Bridge.
• Go over Throg’s Neck Bridge (toll) and take Cross Island Parkway exit toward Eastern Long Island
• Merge onto Cross Island Parkway south
• Take Cross Island Parkway south to the Long Island Expressway (exit 30E) east
• Take the LI Expwy east to Veterans Highway /Rte 454(exit 57)
• Take Veterans Highway/ Rte 454 south (right turn) for 5 miles
